About the Event
Chuck Nicklin was an early underwater film pioneer and a local diving icon known worldwide. He gained overnight notoriety after “riding a whale” caught in a gill net before cutting the whale free. The experience led to underwater film projects on everything from nature documentaries to feature films, including James Bond, The Deep, and many more. Chuck recently passed away at the age of 95. Join us to learn more about his pioneering work and celebrate his legacy.
